Woke up this morning and decided I wanted to make an entry for *LazyBlazey's contest, where we're to come up with a new outfit for her character, Star.

But I didn't really have any ideas of what I wanted to do, since I never really feel that the clothing concepts I come up with are anything that great. So I did what I usually do when I'm trying to find inspiration; put on a playlist.

Though (without really thinking about it) what I put on was my playlist of everything I have that's done by Akira Yamaoka; the composer for all things Silent Hill related. |D;;
Then I was inspired alright, but her outfit turned out all... gothic lolita-esc. O_o

I know it's probably not something Star would wear (it's kinda a little dark for her) so I'm sorry if it's not what you were hoping for sis. But at least I tried, ne?

But I'm still rather happy with how the drawing itself came out, and I'm surprised at how much I like the outfit in and of itself, so If you don't like it for Star, I'm definitely gonna swipe it and use it for one of my chars. XD

TITLE'S A SILENT HILL REFERENCE!

What the outfit consists of:
-two shirts (one's a DK blue tank-top, the other sort of like a corset, which is tied back with a ribbon with little plastic stars on the end.)
-a tattered side-skirt
-torn lycra biker shorts
-knee-high stockings
-boots
-frilly gauntlets
-pearl necklace
-Gothic Lolita top hat
-laces in her hair
-and a ribbon around her neck

she looks gorgeous!!! I love how she came out! the outfit is cute i love the lolita look on her!! ^///^ you're welcome dear~! I'm really glad that you like it. I was a little nervous that you wouldn't really care for the lolita look on her XD;;

Gothic Lolita is still sweet, but also kinda dark, so I thought it would be a fun twist. Plus, again, I was definitely listening to too much silent hill. ^_^;;

I have a love-hate relationship with lace, and I thought the torn shorts would just complete the look. ;]
